Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez says he would feel like a failure if he finished his time at Anfield without winning the Premier League.
Benitez has won the Champions League with Liverpool, but admits the Premiership is the trophy he desperately wants.
“Anyone who knows me knows that I want to win every trophy, every game,” he told The Times. “But if you ask me what I prefer, I will say the Premier League.
“If I do not win the title, I’m sure I’d be so disappointed maybe I would have this feeling [of failure],” he said. “But in football you have to compete against other teams. In the Premier League, you see clubs with big, big money, big stadiums. It’s easier if you have money to spend. But we have to deal with the money we have and cannot judge other teams.”
