What a joke that is...what's the point banning them in the first place?
They got their request, yet again it is not about sport and fair play but MONEY and POWER. It really make a joke of the whole procedure and open the floodgate for any wealthy club to bulldoze their way through rule and regulations designed to protect young players and their clubs. Real no brainer, FA indeed a bunch of circus.
Someone up there must be having a loaded pocket now. Those who fail to see this is a real moron.
its not FA lar, but FIFA. the appeal process is the same with civil and criminal court proceedings. when someone appeals, the decision is pending until the judgement is out.

Yeah, im not sure you guys opinion on this lah but I see this as a joke. There must be a ruling stated that the club must lodge an appeal within 2 - 3 months. Why appeal now? It's because Chelsea knows this loophole right? It's because the transfer windows is in Jan!
I'm not anti Chelsea...I say this from the perspective of football in general. I do hope Chelsea win the title rather than ManU (sorry Rooney9)...I don't want ManU to get the 19th title ahead of us. ;)

thats the appeal process, so fairness or unfairness doesnt come to it, cos the law is the law. if you want to interpret it, then of course the club being punished wants to appeal and use the loophole to buy many players, even if it is found guilty by CAS later. frankly any club would have appeal, not only chelsea.
dun worry man utd wont win the league title as no team has ever won the title 4 times in a row. utd playing like f now, do you think they can retain the title, some more without ronaldo and tevez?

let me get this right.
U kill someone, you get a jail term, and U put into jail.
U appeal, and as the decision is pending until the judgement is out, U are let free to do anything?
Do you see the picture, pal??

frankly, MU has more chance of getting the 19th than Liverpool to win their 1st EPL title.

this is right
and when you're then sentenced, your jail term starts from the day you're in the lock up while the court pend your case

Of course lah! Liverpool 20 yrs liao no title! I think ManU have a great chance to win it this season though. ManU was the better team against Chelsea a couple weeks back.
