Doha is the neutral and luxurious setting for the international, which will act as an important part of preparation for next year's World Cup finals.
The likes of Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard, Rio Ferdinand, Ashley Cole, Glen Johnson and David Beckham are all missing for Fabio Capello but several fringe players will get the chance to impress.
Capello will probably opt for Robert Green in goal, although he may want to give more minutes to Ben Foster, with Wayne Bridge and Wes Brown set to start at full-back.
John Terry has emerged as a doubt with Gary Cahill, Joleon Lescott and Matthew Upson the options in the middle of defence.
Gareth Barry and Michael Carrick are likely to start in midfield with James Milner and Shaun Wright-Phillips competing with Ashley Young for a place on the flanks.
Wayne Rooney will lead the line, possibly as captain if Terry is ruled out, with Peter Crouch, Jermain Defoe and Darren Bent battling to be his partner.
Robinho is with the Brazil squad but highly unlikely to figure in Qatar and coach Dunga has a host of injury issues to deal with.
Liverpool's Fabio Aurelio is set to pull out after being sent for scans on an injury while a row has blown up with Roma over Juan after the Serie A club refused to release the defender.
Naldo and Felipe Melo are both rated extremely doubtful after hobbling out of training, leaving Brazil likely to field a very different XI to the one that will line up in South Africa.

bad one for team with a roaring streak like Chelsea.. breaks their momentum you see.. -

brazil has more depth.. with the looks of kaka, fabiano, pato, robinho, maicon, alves,ramires, silva, anderson, cesar.. they just got too much!

gerrard( not fully fit), lampard(doubtful), rooney, defoe(is he really that good?), james(just for laughs), terry, ferdinand(off form?), johnson, ashley cole, joe cole, walcott.
only rooney and defoe(well...) is not goal shy.
you get what i mean right? :D
can they keep up with the brazilian attacks? -
