Fulham boss Roy Hodgson is set to be offered the Great Britain coaching job for the 2012 Olympics.
The Daily Express says Hodgson, who is currently locked in contract talks at Craven Cottage, is the man Olympic chiefs want to coach their fledgling team at the Games in three years.
Informal approaches have been made to representatives of Hodgson, 61. His stock has never been higher after leading Fulham to seventh place in the Premier League last season on a minuscule budget and taking them into the Europa League, where they are well placed to qualify for the last 32.
