As a man utd supporter, I think, they are capable of wining the EPL but I don't think they will win it this year.
They are still in transitional / re building stage of losing Ronaldo and Teves. They are not much threat up front. The midfielders are off forms. The defensive line are shaky and looking for a Veb der Sar replacement. So far, the team performance has been dodgy and so not man utd-style-like style of play.
At the same time, the contenders are very strong. Chelsea are filled with highly experienced players. Arsenal are young and energetic. They have, probably, the most hunger of all. They remind me of the Utd class of 95. Man City are fearsome. As of Liverpool . . . said no more.
But I still have hope in this team. I do believe in the wit of Sir Alex and the unity of the lads.
Do you dare to write them off?
Let's ask this very same question in March 2010.

there are many change in ManU squad, different from chelsea and Arsenal. I think they need 2-3 year to perform team to going back to be on the top of EPL again

I think team should buy a new shooter or wing to support Wayne Rooney and Berbatov such as David Villa or Silva from valencia in spanish league.

dun think man utd will retain the title. no team ever won the title 4 times in a row. that said, man utd will be there or thereabouts. for me, its either chelsea or arsenal, but in terms of stability and maturity of the team, its chelsea who hold the trumps.

actually man utd shouldnt have lost to burnley and drew sunderland at home. its 5 points lost thru these 2 matches even if they lost to liverpool and chelsea. that said, they say football is round.
