  Bayern Munich offer Ribery to Real Madrid, Barcelona

  Barcelona and Real Madrid have been offered Franck Ribery by Bayern Munich, it has been revealed.

  The Frenchman's slide and Bayern's current dismal form has led the German giants to begin hawking Ribery around Europe, says Sport.

  Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester City are among clubs to have been made aware of Ribery's availability for €35 million.

  After missing out on a summer move to Madrid, Ribery has managed only seven first team appearances for Bayern this season as he struggles to cope with a nagging knee injury.

  isn't he cup tied for the UCL? United seems to be lacking central defender than wingers.. MU got a bunch of above averages,  & one semi-retiring...

  If he joins united, he can play in left wing. Nani can f off already. I hope he joins United, but I reckon he is more interested in joining RM or Barcelona in Liga.

  Chelsea owner Abramovich ready to lead Ribery January deal

  Chelsea are making Bayern Munich ace Franck Ribery their top January transfer target.

  The Telegraph says despite the public protestations of manager Carlo Ancelotti that he is happy with the squad he has, it is understood that, following discussions with sporting director Frank Arnesen, who is assuming responsibility for transfers, Chelsea have decided to try again to sign Ribery.

  A bid of just over £40 million for the 26-year-old midfielder was rejected by Bayern Munich in the summer even though Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich involved himself in the negotiations.

  Bayern had hoped to pin Ribery down with a new contract – his present deal runs out in 2011 – but it seems likely that he will continue to resist, especially with other clubs interested.
