Chelsea boss Ancelotti: Forget Liverpool for title, for now

Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has wrote-off Liverpool as a title threat, for now.

Carletto reckons Manchester United and Arsenal are Blues' only serious rivals for the Premier League crown.

He said: "We can't think about Liverpool at this moment because they are behind.

"The title is not just between Chelsea and United. No, I think Arsenal have good possibilities to arrive in first place. Arsenal have a very good team.

"But we must concentrate on United. It's an important game. We will play the second team in the Premier League but it's just a game that carries three points like the others.

"We know very well that it will be a very difficult match but also a very interesting match.

"I think we are doing very well at this moment, we are in good condition. We have a very good mental attitude at this moment."

He is still sour over losing to Liverpool in 2005.

But, in true sense, Liverpool may be fighting for mid table survival this year if they dun make any change in Jan 2010.

Even if the players turned hungry, the manager will deployed the wrong formation to confuse the players.

hmm.. liverpool still can win the title, provided that man united's midfield and defense suddenly becomes so chui, arsenal's youngsters to self-implode, chelsea to have half of its 1st team decimated by long-term injuries and aston villa losing ashley young and gabriel agbonlahor to injuries.

man city defense not tt strong... they just let 3 goals in against burnley..bt if u insist...imagine if man city lost barry, robinho, bellamy, SWP and ireland to injury and tottenham lose palacios to injury as well... they will be oso imploding... n btw babel is more of a striker than a winger, so no conversion is needed...if i'm nt wrong, LFC just sold nemeth rite?
