  How can Evan kungfu kicked on Drogba and no penalty ?

  Evans should be red-carded , scary sia the kick on Drogba's chest ...... when he landed , Evans gave Drogba another kick , he make it two .

  Late Terry header earns Chelsea the victory over Man Utd

  Chelsea extend their lead at the summit of the Premiership to five points after a fortunate 1-0 win over rivals Manchester United at Stamford Bridge.

  This was the Blues tenth straight home win and will have aggrieved Manchester United who looked to be heading for a point after a dogged defensive display.

  Reds boss Sir Alex Ferguson will also feel an injustice with the free kick which led to John Terry's 76th minute winner.

  Darren Fletcher, who had a fine game, appeared to have won the ball cleanly from Ashley Cole and that Didier Drogba was in an offside position as Terry's header found the back of the net.

  However, the Champions lacked a cutting edge and Chelsea shaded on chances created but this result is a major blow to the Reds retaining their Premiership crown.

  chelsea played badly but won.

  ballack and deco should retire.  this was probably drogba's all time worst performance in a match.

  SAF as usual is unhappy with the referee.  he feels that way whenever man u dont win.

  well, SAF had it coming, after Wiley, I don't think there is any EPL referee that will be "on" his side. however,  this ref did okay.

  Given how MU was playing without their top 2 defenders, or luckily, they didn't, MU was able to withstand whatever Chelsea thew at them.

  Sadly, MU was too conservative, and given how they relied mostly on counter and long shots, not the way to winning games.

  Anyway, hopefully, MU only lost one battle, and not the war.

  scrappy at best...manu played the flanks more than cheesy....how come ancelotti didn't have malouda on, the middle was narrow, manu controlled the middle decent enough....

  This ref did ok except for one occasion when he whistled for the game to stopped after chelsea surrendered possession to manU... for john terry to receive medical attention after he stayed on the ground following a collision with A Cole...

  Thought he should have allowed manU to continue play because it wasn't a head injury and neither was it inflicted by a red shirt.

  Ref stopped play because after a while he deemed the injury to Terry as possibly aggravating/serious. Why only when Man U gained possession? Simple, with Chelsea in possession, the ref was looking at Man U's goal, away from Terry, only realised the severity befalling Terry later on.

  But best move by the referee has to be the Yellow Card to Drogba, and the expression on Drog's face -- priceless. Though I sympathise him, it should be a lesson for him to fall down less easily.

  And Evans, what a lucky petulant boy he was last night. Referees will be watching him after this from now on.

  Man United definitely has the psychological advantage. Sir Alex Ferguson knows that Chelsea has to win to keep their chances alive of winning the Premiership. But even if Man United loses the match, the Red Devils can still lift the trophy if they win their final two games against West Ham and Wigan.

  seriously, I think Drogba would have gone down and be sub or get some serious injury. And then he got up, and gingerly went to side line.

  Only when the ref decides to show him a yellow, did energy surge thru his body, and seemingly, he forgot about the pain, and was able to remonstrate..Surprisingly, strange surge of energy...

  This drogba, really big bones, even a kungfu kick can't bring him down.

  haha.. what you meant was Ref had had a blindspot for Terry's injury.

  If Terry's injury was so severe, why did his own team mates determines it was okay to launch into an attack on MU. and why only when the ball went back to MU's possession, did the injury esclates to "life-threatening"??

  well, I think we need to see the events or timeline before the "cantona" kick. and not just the kick itself.

  if I am not wrong, Drogba went to challenge when evans was clearing the ball, and it was just the wrong place/time for Drogba. Instead, the cantona kick just got spotlighted cause of the height he got kicked, but given how Drogba went in, hence he got booked.

  Objectively, the yellow was a bit too harsh, while a penalty's call is moronic.
