Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp had a swipe at Jermain Defoe after defeat to Stoke City.
Defoe was suspended for the game after being sent-off last week at Portsmouth and Redknapp snapped: "Jermain would have scored today if he had played because he's that sharp and that bright, but he cost us when he got sent off last week. He's been in absolute unbelievable form and when the little man's up front he's going to score for you.
"He knows he cost us. This was a big game. Arsenal's a big game next week. They're important games that we can't afford to lose him for."
