Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo says he's an outsider to successfully defend his Ballon d'Or status this year.
Ronaldo is the reigning European Player of the Year, but told France Football: "To win titles you have to have won as part of a team, so that the favorite is a Barça player: Xavi, Eto'o, Messi too. If you win trophies, you deserve this award.
"Yes, it is true, Barca have played the best football. Barca is now better than Madrid, but the question is who will be first at the end of the season. We'll see. I do not care about playing well, I want to win.
"If you can do both, good, but first is to win."
