  I think we shouldn't underestimate Wigan, they are in great form at the moment especially at home... There is nothing to be ashamed of in a 1 - 1 result when City played with only 10 men... Cos even Chelsea were well beaten in their last visit to Wigan... So it kind of tell you what City came up against today...

  Hughes reckoned this point could prove valuable, especially as City had to come from behind and play the last 25 minutes with 10 men after Zabaleta was sent off for his second yellow card. 

  Hughes said: "This was a point we probably wouldn't have got last year. 

  "Our mentality has changed with stronger characters coming into the club and we were able to see it out fairly comfortably in the end. 

  "In the circumstances we have to be reasonably happy with a point. Wigan are a good team, as they showed against Chelsea, and they will win more games than they lose here. They are one of a number of teams capable of taking points off the Big Four.
