AC Milan forward Ronaldinho has admitted that he is finding life in Serie A harder to cope with than the Primera Division. The former
Barcelona star revealed that this is not due to a disagreement with his coach Leonardo, but it is simply down to the fact that defenders press harder and close down the space more quickly in Italy than in Spain.
When he was asked by
AS why he was performing badly with the Rossoneri, Ronaldinho replied by saying that it is more difficult "to play in Italy than in Spain. Here, I am afforded less space."
"There is no problem [between Leonardo and I].
"It doesn't matter whether I play up front, on the left or on the right. I repeat, the problem is that there is less space."
After rescuing Milan against Atalanta prior to the international break, Ronaldinho is expected to feature for Leonardo's side when they face Roma on Sunday.
