ebay har,... i only dare to deal with those popular ones for eg the (wholesale_diecast_seller) but then the car is US$74 for the car and shipping is US$40.. add up still bo hua.. deal with ulu ulu ones kenna conned with the gallardo comes with damaged/conned parts then jialat..
aiya nvm lah.divert my interest and spend the money on other more worthwhile things,, -
nikko has their ways of pricing their stuffs.
to put it bluntly, no 1 force u to buy from them. i am not standing on their side, but they have their rentals to pay, staffs commission and misc.
for collectors, i guess the best place is ebay....tat is if the price is reasonable, but do be warn that stuffs can go missing and payments may cock up.
anyway, u c it....i hope u can find a best solution to enjoy the hobby.
do not be put down by the price factor...that is if u can handle.
i guess there are more in life then models

The most recent price hike, although it may be a slight one.. also puts into question the reasons for it... It's not as if AA themselves have raised the price... in fact, the prices in their online stores is still the same.. so it only stands to reason that Nikko themselves are raising the price.. We do not know the reasons why.. and frankly, if they keep going up, then I guess more people will be looking elsewhere for their models...

yes, the rising price of the nikko models are puttin a strain in our brains, an not to forget our wallet.
but as alway, the prices are not controlled by AA, so nikko is free to price watever they want....anything, just prices those models out of the price range -
Maybe emailing AA our displeasure with the S'pore distributor might improve matters, especially if it means a loss of sales to AA due to the exorbitant prices imposed by the distributor here.

That is also true.. but consider the recent increase.. from 155 to 158 and 185 to 188... The prices on aa-collection.com haven't changed... the last time they changed, was when the prices at nikko reached 155 and 185... So now, nikko's prices went up a bit, but the ones on aa-collection still remain the same... Thats why I eBay and don't even bother with AA models. -_- I don't understand the stigma that is always somehow comes to be associated with eBay. I have purchased over 20 cars from eBay. Some were even from small time sellers with ratings of less then 100! But I have never had any problems at all with regards to missing shipments, cheating of money e.t.c. Also only a single case of damaged shipment, a broken sideview mirror. That was the only damage that had happened and after I stuck it back properly, it is almost impossible to find the fault.
So yeah, buying from eBay is way better then buying from shops here IMO. Besides, how often do you see a 1/18 McLaren in the shops here
AA is not value added for almost all its models, except for the few LEs they have released. I would prefer Kyosho anyday over AA currently

AA has hits and misses but they have the variety. That's why they are so popular.
