hey those of you in US....how's the mood like over there? are there snaking queues of people outside financial institutions trying to withdraw their $/investments/insurance?
well, there sure is a loooooooonng queue outside AIA (raffles place) over the past couple of days!
I did not notice any queues outside the banks when I was lollygagging around the skyway system in downtown St. Paul at lunch today, but there were more than a few curious people stopping and looking at the video monitors broadcasting business-related news. Additionally, it was still in the middle of the trading day, so the full extent of the carnage on Wall Street had yet to be realized.
Color me an optimist, but I think the market has essentially bottomed out as scavengers looking for buying opportunities start picking up decimated stocks at fire-sale prices.
there are plenty of forclosure house to look at lor......some of them outside looks good but inside wall torn. toliet missing.....
I have healthguard policy with AIA for that I am keeping. The rest of my policy is with Manulife they are canadian base...so unless u folks hear anything wrong up Canada let me know.
Actually this downturn was like begining of this year ....only folks in Wall Street were so focus on their PC that they forgot to stick their headsup to look.
So look at the bright side you have to get worst before it gets better. christmas season are officially over. We are doing spring oders now so I think Sunshine is coming.....cheers.
oh by the way i too want to add if you have account with Washington Mutual pls keep below 100k.
Looks like my prediction of a rally on Wall Street was somewhat accurate, as the DJIA gained 410 points today.
Dayum! Perhaps I should consider a career switch and become a stockbroker!
u serious....i walked away from an Oil Future Trader....back than oil price was only US$30 dollars a barrel.
