Khairiano has suggested using a tag to identify ourselves and Veyron16.4 has even made a blank one for us to put our name in. Sad to say, the only 2 people I have seen using this tag is Interception_7 and myself. Maybe I did not see the rest of you, which brings me to my next point.
There are some here who attended the CCLD in the same train as us, but did not even say a simple "Hi". Is it really that difficult? We all have the passion for trains, and we should acknowledge each other's presence. Another occasion I encountered was when I was entering the train from MacPherson while a group was coming out. No acknowledgement as well. Let's keep this forum united okay? Like what Interception_7 suggested, we should all have met at Esplanade at 2pm just to say hi for maybe 15 minutes? And then we can go ahead and do our own "discovery". The next possible time I can think of with the whole forum going to the same location would be CCLD from Marymount to HarbourFront.
And one guy I saw in the train, I don't know whether he is from this forum. I was walking to the front of the train, and this boy was holding his camera up to the Train Car Number at the front of the train, staring hard at the number, shuddering and mumbling to himself "Train Car Number... Train Car Number..." as he took the picture. I shall not describe this guy to protect his privacy. I mean look kid, I know you're pasisonate about trains and all but can you don't look like a drug addict? What would the public think of all railway fans?
lol who was it? what time?

I'm not sure who he is, but I can describe him. However, I won't reveal, as I said, to protect his privacy. Y'know, in case he really is in this forum.
QX, it's not you lol.

if dat guy wasn't wearing blue specs then I'm safe..

1st Para : I think sometimes, bus fans are a little shy.
2nd Para : Mad about trains? Sorry but I aren't insulting that guy...

Not all bus fans are shy, if you are willing to open up in the first place. Best start is to add each other on msn and start chatting.
I understand you were shy to approach the other bus fans during the citaro trip. The others were sitting at the back chatting (of course it wasn't loud and creating commotions like walking up and down the bus filming)
Looking like drug addict? Some people say the guy should be a transport enthusiast Low Chuan Hao. Who knows?
i am shy too...

Anyone has a PDF or scanned image of the CCL Open House Brochure? I didn't get to visit the Open House and would love to read the brochure. :)

It's actually quite big, like A3 size before you open it. If you want 1, I have extra copies.

By the way, the next CCLD, will be only from Caldecott and not Marymount to Harbourfront.
And I would suggest, let's meet on Buona Vista MRT station OR Harbourfront for the next CCLD at a fixed time, fixed spot. Some people there, could have waited at EWL Paya Lebar for the current CCLD, when the others thought meet at CCL Paya Lebar. Just an example though!

Nah, I was just giving the overview. Even the one that just passed also said Bartley to Dhoby Ghaut.
Hmm... Meeting time can be a bit hard since some may turn up early or late. I would suggest a median time when most of us would be Discovering.
Till then.. We shall wait for the next CCLD...
Adios amigos.
Will there be 1 or 2 more CCLDs? Coz there is a Marina Bay Extension.
during the event, esp in the train ride, there was so much stupid comments of CCL I heard from stupid prattling kids such as " monsters in the tunnel", the signals are traffic lights whereby white means " can go at any time", and at DBG, another one said that there is a continuation of the route when that is the last station. Oh one more, Esplanade, the truth is, it is just walking distance to "the Durians".
