  Stealing a child's innocence is the most heinous crime possible. It is beyond eviscerating for normal adult human beings -- like me. Just thinking about a grown man going after a schoolgirl wrenches my stomach.

  If a child -- of any gender -- is molested, the psychological stress he/she experiences is so intense that it physically damages his/her brain and impairs its developement. Once again, the child's gender does not play a role in the extent of the harm.

  Actually, boys are more vulnerable to sexual assault [by men and older boys] than girls.

  3/4ths of child-molestation cases occur among members of the same-gender. This means boys are more likely to be molested than girls.
