  Yup theres a disperity between the sentence conviced for female and male sex with a minor offenders. Often the women are dealt with lightly. Whereas the male sex offender receives alot more press and has heavy charges imposed upon. I believe that people percieve that the underage male victim who had sex with a woman isn't as emotionally traumatised as the female victim. Gender equality? bull shit! Boys are both biologically and pyschologically less matured that girls for their age. Sex at a premature age for a boy has more consequences.
