Sex with minor - I don't get it

I know women are the known as the "weaker" or "fairer" sex, but why the difference in treatment of two similar crimes by local media and the justice system even in this so-called equal-gender generation?
Just a day apart, one criminal gets his name fully published while another protected by court of law?

1) Different prosecutors make different decisions.
2) Somehow there is something more monsterous about a man who would fuck a young girl than a womwn who would let a young boy fuck her. Don't ask me why and don't debate whether that is right or wrong, because I'm not interested. I'm just telling u how society thinks and why the sort of influence such thinking might have.3) In the 1st case, knowing the man's name wouldn't really identify the girl. In the 2nd case, as the woman and the boy are teacher and student in the same school, identifying the woman would VERY likely identify the boy since he's likely her student.

Because in the eyes of the law women are always on the losing end when it comes to sex.

technically true since we're the ones with a risk of 9 months of pregnancy, and even abortions can be risky, and depressing.

The Women's Charter

Amendments to The Women's Charter
The Women's Charter (1996) Amendment Bill was passed in Parliament on 27 Aug 96, assented to by the President on 27 Sep 96 and came into force on 1 May 97. It gives greater protection to women and children and aims to keep the family unit intact wherever possible. Major amendments to the Act include:harmonious resolution of family disputes to help family members maintain amiable relations;
more equitable distribution of matrimonial assets;
application for the maintenance of a child to be made by any person appointed by the Minister if a parent, guardian or elder sibling above 21 years old cannot be found or is unwilling to apply on behalf of the child;
issue of protection order based on the balance of probabilities to make it less difficult for a complainant to secure protection;
extension of the protection order to cover other family members besides the spouse and children of the perpetrator;
order for a perpetrator/victim or both or their children to attend mandatory counselling by such body as the Minister may approve or as directed by the Court; and
recognition of marriages of persons who have undergone sex re-assignment procedures. -

they protect the woman cos she might get zounds of calls from sex-deprived men askign her for sex.. wheras the guy will only get calls from loan sharks... -

well the law "sexual penetration with any person under the age of 16" is a new law?
previously in women charter, it applies to girls only under the age of 16. But now with the new law, it applies to any person under the age of 16.
am i right?
