Sales begin on Mar 4, with bets to be taken on the overall Championship Winner Driver and Team.
Qualifying and other individual race bet types such as the race winner, top three drivers and fastest lap will be offered from Mar 11, ahead of the season-opening Melbourne Grand Prix on March 16.
The minimum bet amount is $5.
'Live' betting at the SportsBuzz outlet at Paradiz Centre will also be available for certain races and certain bet types, the details of which will be released closer to each individual race date.
The 'live' bet types are likely to include 'Driver Head to Head' and 'Fastest Lap Time.'
I'm still not going to change my stance on gambling and betting, though I wouldn't be surprised if it's all to capitalise on the current brouhaha. Well, if you guys don't feel like contributing to the tax revenue here, there's always William Hill.
