Fresh from his stint of claiming that he had an equal shot at being WDC at Ferrari, Rubens has come up with a new gem:
Rubens Barrichello has pointed the finger at Honda after struggling for pace in the 2006 season.
The experienced Brazilian, who switched to the team after six years as Michael Schumacher's Ferrari team-mate, immediately disliked the feel of his Honda racer's brakes and traction control.
"To be honest, it was a bit of a lack of experience within the team," said the 34-year-old, who failed notably to keep up with new cohort Jenson Button.
Barrichello revealed that he pleaded for changes to the car's brakes at the start of the year, but to no avail.
He said: "That is why I took so long (to become competitive). I told them that (if nothing changed) I was going to be driving behind Jenson."
"I am sure that, with the things I have been developing, it will help him to eventually win a race."
The fumduck simply can't admit that he's bloody useless. If he's so good and the car's so bad, why can't he keep up with Button? Far as I can tell, nobody agreed to design the car around him.
I gotta admit, though - that guy sure knows how to put a spin on things. Rather than come oput and tell the truth that he's only good enough to be an also-ran, he's trying to take credit for things that he hasn't and won't ever do. What a joke.
