Minardi F1 will be taken over by Red Bull Racing, and renamed Squadra Toro Rosso
Team Sauber will be taken over by BMW
BAR will be fully owned by Honda
Williams will use Cosworth engines
Super Aguri, headed by ex-F1 driver Aguri Suzuki, planned to join the grid using Honda engines and Bridgestone tyres. However they have missed the deadline to pay the US$48m bond. They do not appear on next year entry list.

No doubt Honda is buying out BAT's share in BAR, but Lucky Strike will remain the principal sponsor. At least until tobacco advertising goes out the window. -

It has been announced that Jacques Villeneuve's services will be retained at BMW Sauber for 2006.

Following TuesdayÂ’s announcements from Red Bull and Toro Rosso, we now know the names of all 20 drivers who will be on the grid when the 2006 Formula One World Championship gets underway in Bahrain in just over three monthsÂ’ time.
