I didn’t realise that the pump prices in upnorth is atas now… RM3 per lit for 97… After deducting our local taxes, it’s some 30 cents cheaper…

It might not be calories that are causing obesity and diabetes

today's local rag showed a troop of monkeys in NUS.. and i don't mean the undergrads there..
i think NUS is trying to get those monkeys in to increase the mean IQ of the population of undergrads, considering the number of outright idiotic things they did recently
joke of the day?
anyway, heading out in 5 but the weather is super i-no-likey
looks like a quiet weekend here

Sleeping with the prof (just to get a B), openly plastering hardcore pr0n on a public blog.....
I'm telling you, if we were to include a basic test on common sense and etiquette as part of the admissions package, enrolment would drop dramatically.
It's monday...
and it's nom nom session tonight~
My good old MSI netbook is gonna bite the dust soon..... thinking of getting a new laptop.
I was thinking of getting this one from Harvey Norman: Linkie
I did my homework, and I found that even after zhng-ing the RAM to 8 GB, replacing the HDD with an SSD, and buying Office software, it wouldn't cost me more than $1.4k.
Any thoughts, guys?

The old netbook shouldn't be breaking down so soon, right?

It's over four years old.
The display is dimming considerably, and the HDD often makes a huge racket.
And even after reformatting it, it's struggling to carry out basic tasks like PPT presentations.
It's going kaput. No point waiting for it to die.

Okay. I still believe that we shouldn't have to go and buy a whole new computer or phone because one or a few parts are outdated or failing. We should be able to upgrade and customise much more.

8gb RAM and SSD on a netbook...?
I do not know what is your spec for ur current existing netbook (I'm not sure on netbook/lappy mobos). But adding in 8 gb and SSD would seem like adding a turbo charger on a beetle. Not that it cannot perform though but I think getting a proper laptop might be better.
One that comes with reasonably 8 gb and SSD... SSD really plays a big part over improvement of performance... U'll be shocked at the hibernate/wake up speed...
