Seriously I think for most people I know, 30s are like the best years of their life.
I mean come on we have the spending power, our careers are stable, we have friends and a good social life, most of us here look better now than we did a few years ago.
I don't think there is anything much to complain about.
End of the day, age is just a number. It's what you decide to do with your life and your appearance.
30s....
Just wish I am 28 yearly! :D
age is just a number. most important thing is you must know how to live life to the fullest :)
don't complain about being in your 30s, because before you know it, you're going to complain about being in your 40s and wish you were in your 20s or 30s... and then you move to 50s and you start wondering about the fun times during 30s and 40s... and then...
agree with dailyfreegame...
U spend all ur time worrying and hating and complaining until u do not enjoy ur time... Why not use ur time to enjoy urself instead of complaining and worrying?
strongly agreed!!
btw, may i know what is a guy in his 30s looking for in an ideal partner?
best time and worse time... :-)
what do you mean best time and worst time?
if a single guy in his 30s is looking for a gf to be his stable lifetime partner, what kind of girl would he be looking for? would look still be that important anymore? or is it the inner beauty that matters to him only?

Be yourself and not an imitation of what you think a guy or society expects. Otherwise, you'll be unhappy and attract the kind of men you're not looking for.
you know... the revelation of your own mortality... that's the best and the worst time..
usually happens around the 30s...
and who knows.. love has reasons reason can never understand
Anyone who wants to stop growing old has to die immediately...
Most likely a case of squandered youth...
Even if in cases of squandered youth... U know u squandered your youth, u shld be working to remedy it or making up for it...
If u just spent ur time lamenting or thinking of "what ifs", nthing gonna change and infact u'll just squander more time away...
It is not that bad to be in your 30's. Make sure that you love your job to feel that satisfaction in your life.
When You hit 30, never forget to exercise everyday. Go learn Martial Art and keep fit, or those who use to learn TKD or any Martial Arts, go to garden or park after reaching home from work and continue Your own personal training. Go and do extreme stretching or yoga or whatever... When You hit 50 plus , You will still look young and fit.
For men, when they hit 40 and keep fit, they still look like in their 20s or early 30s.
When Women hit 30, they are considered old. But anyway, guys do love MILFs too.
has been abt 5 yrs since i return to post on this forums. now in 30s and qualify.. lolx
I'd like to have this rant thread stickied.

What???? You got to be kidding.
Careers are stable but so what? Because you won't have time to spend all that money.
Then what about circle of friends? All got married and too busy to go out.
child : got time got energy but no money.
teen/working adult : got energy got money but no time.
old ppl:got money got time but no energy
some old ppl: got time but no energy no money

Really? I'm married and I have a circle of friends and we still meet every week though I've been skipping the meetings due to tennis lessons but we still have time to meet up.
I have time to spend my money too. Today after work I'm going down to the tank maker to choose the laminate for my new cabinet tank. Before that, I'm meeting a friend for lunch too.
I think it's how you manage your time and as a couple have to recognize that both of you have your own circle of friends and life too. Don't get me wrong, my husband and I do things together and he knows my friends and joins us sometimes and likewise I know his friends and join them sometimes.

Every minute, someone who is busier than you is working out, running, volunteering or doing something that you think you don't have time for.
when i was young... people in their 30s seemed 'old'... all 'aunties' and 'uncles'... now i also 'auntie' liaoz... *sigh* such is life... ha...
But... being in my 30s has its pros and cons... i m in my next stage in life... having a family and learning new things from my young children.... i may not be able to 'dong' for the whole night playing mahjong as i used to do in the past but i have learnt to enjoy other things in life.... family, friends, outdoors etc.... not sure whether it is because i am in my 30s or i have learnt not to take things too seriously anymore.... :)
/me laughs at the people complaining about 30s
well, if one can spend time lamenting and complaining, I tink they have enuff time actually
dun let procrastination take u down~~~
