have u tried putting all tortoise on the floor, make a start line.. put good food at the finishing line, let them run to the finishing line.. u lie low (on tummy), take pics of them "running"..should be very cute pics :D

Like I said, she's more of a political activist than a politician.
Her place is outside a G8 meeting waving a placard. Not a seat in Parliament.
I was open-minded enough to see her rally in Youtube. However, she did herself no favours by airing out what is essentially a laundry list of complaints. Well, duh, I know all those problems, but what kind of policies does she plan to put forward to deal with them?
She still strikes me as 'the little girl who tries too hard to talk big'. Nothing more.

unfortunately, the MIW caused these problems which solutions would be very very painful...
take for example housing.. to lower the cost of housing would equate to being honest (that's painful for the MIW) and then the banks will want their pound of flesh... the value of the property goes below the mortgage amount, the banks will want a cash injection to top it up.. where will the people get that?
the immigration issue.. what now? to lessen everything = no singaporean wants to work at that kind of wage because it cannot even let them afford decent housing, much less bring up a family... which means wages have to go up.. but they have been kept low to "be competitive" (which is bullshit considering developed countries have higher domestic purchasing power parity on a wage higher than us) there is almost no way to do so without painful cuts because companies are working on the margin of the low wages
the transport issue - see the immigration issue.. the infrastructure is not there and cannot cope with the load.. however by lowering the number of commuters = no more profit.. prices will go up and already our DPPP is so fricken low, it'll just be a mess...
the wages issue - see the immigration and housing issue...
loads of other issues caused by the MIW but they or anyone can solve without causing a lot of brutal short term pain which may be fatal...
frankly, i can't think of a solution either.. except to start somewhere, take the pain, keep going... maybe we can get a good society going after all the pain...
but society is allergic to pain... until it becomes terminal then whatever pain they say they'll endure is almost as bad as the cancer itself
