Ok New Pad is up!
1st ~
Anyway I think the casino is a real killer seriously
Ever since the casino opened, there hv been 2 suicides near my workplace
My friend rented out a flat to hv the guy hanging himself in the flat after he moved in
Then yesterday I heard from HM one of our close customers had to fire their long time staff for misappropriating company funds coz that staff lost big time at the casino.
I also think that seriously they should just scrape the yearly membership for casinos
KNS it’s affordable and when you pay for it, the more you will want to “make use of it”
If Singaporeans wanna go, they have to pay $100 to get in

The owner cry lor
Since he rented out his flat
The most sian thing is early in the morning you rush to work
Than you realised the route you take to walk to the office has been blocked off and you see police, ambulances and this sheet on the ground covering something -__- and the huge crowd gathering there speculating
oh well, nowdays is either pple jumping onto the tracks or off some bldgs to terminate their lives..
think so far, I've handled only 1 case of fall from height..
The one my friend kenna is he hang himself -_-"
Seriously damn ugly way to go
I think carbon monoxide poisoning is the best way I think. You don't even know
yup, rmb oso got handled a hang case before..
iirc, was during one of my nite shift..
+1 for pad~~~
why u guys talk abt suicide??
Best way of suicide is to go Holland, buy a field of poppy... Lies in the middle on a soft white bed... Burn the perimeter of the field and take a deep breath... U'll get high, luff, smile while whole world fades~~~
really jialet
I met a taxi uncle n was talking to him he said really chium
He see a lot of ppl like addicted to the casino
the MIW don't give a shit...
they have their pound of flesh and the numbers get added to the GDP...
as long as the GDP goes up, they can say "economy booming"
that's the fallacy of "economies"
if i can save most of my pay by being thrifty, spend just on the essentials, be well and live a simple life, i'm not adding to the economy...
if i spend most of my wages buying shit i don't need, end up being sick and costing my insurance (if i buy some) a shitload because of illnesses my lifestyle brings about, everything spent ends up being part of the GDP... "good for the economy"
to the govt, making money comes 1st..
the rest are secondary..
afternoon
aiya, the casino is a known evil
wah, shaun chen & michelle chia are getting a divorce ah..

$2000 is way too cheap

Ya la too affordable liao
KNS even country club membership also not so cheap lor
The $100/day levy is laughable. If anything, it makes gamblers think that since they're already $100 'in the red', they need to make back $100 just to break even.
The $2000/year levy is even worse. Seriously, if the whole point of the levy was to discourage locals from gambling, then why even give an 'annual pass' at a discount?

i rather use the $ to go on a holiday
I think the government figured that they might as well harvest these casino zombies instead of letting it go to M'sia & cruise ships
should i watch Thor, or The Almighty Thor?
one has Anthony Hopkins in it, the other has pro-wrestler "Big Sexy" Kevin Nash
wait.. there's more!!
in Thor, they have Mjollnir, his magical hammer
while in The Almighty Thor, hammers aren't shit when there are Uzis!!

That's only one view within economics.
The Keynesian's Paradox of Thrift.
But if we look at neoclassical economics, saving is good, because saving in banks => more to invest.
And leading simple life => less likely to get boom-bust economy.
Ultimately of course, all these are views, with interesting applications, but we should know what we should do as individuals and for others around us.
Oh yeah, and anyway, weather has never been so good.
Hot, windy, with occasional rain.
Shiok.
