and where is the closest convenient store coz i have a feeling we'll be out of ice as always

i agree that hard liquor is no good with bbq/potluck. I remember for the past few years, no one drank hard liquor at all!
Best is to bring beer and non alcoholic drinks ..
I have yet to know what i am bringing.. you guys will see when i'm there. .

I've decided on a rack of ribs (will cut up first) - Smokey BBQ Marinated :P
And steamed buttered corn
As for the cake.... I'll leave it for another time when I have a small Hindi movie "party" at my place

actually I've done french fries using just the oven, no oil or what crispy and nice, no need deep fryer.
I think I may not get the bambi murtabak, realised I prob won't have car so going to be hard to go there then come back to the east. Any objections to no deer + flour + eggs?
