  another thing i dont like about the sgs is the lack of any feature to notify the user of any miss call or sms when ur phone screen isnt on.

  but some ppl have worked on it with an self developed app which randomly lights one led up on the screen. so far so good.

  I use handscent sms and set reminders on it to switch on the screen every few mins.

  i don't know wtf is going on with the CNA app.. it takes forever to load the news..

  Err I used the CNA newsfeed for Twitter

  It works a hell lot better

  They show the headlines with a linky where you can click for the full article

  I just rooted my galaxy s and replaced the interface with launcher pro, OMFG its lightning fast.

  if u still not happy can apply lagfix. it will go even faster.

  I bricked my galaxy once during the lag fix today, but I managed to fix it with a full wipe. Only lost apps, didn't lose data. But at least I got the result I wanted, quadrant benchmark is above 2200.

  Surprisingly, the app market doesn't lag anymore! I was like OMGWTF, you can do multiple downloads and no lag!

  use a backup app. i am using titanium pro.

  my 5dollar sillivon case arrived. best five bucks spent in my life.

  i shall try double twist player next week, so i can sync my itunes playlist to my phone and pass my ipod nano to my brother.

  u can also use appbrain to sync and save ur apps. so when u flash ur phone u can reinstall easily.

  once froyo stabilises, can just save apps straight to microsd so when we flash or boot it dont even need to reinstall apps.

   

  btw CNA app for android has an update, i havent used it yet hopefully it is patched up.

   

  Facebook for android is also updated and it has leaped eons from that of the previous crappy firmware. it works like a charm now. great!!

  2nd day using the lagfix, its great. Using market is such a breeze now. Really lagless now leh.

  You need to root your phone. Then apply the lagfix. On my 2nd attempt to lagfix it because of an update, I bricked it, and needed to factory reset, wiping out all my apps and some data. Apparently, only 1 particular combination worked for my phone, another one bricked it. So it was a trial and error for me. So, decide what you want to risk first.

  just use msn to chat la.. i using msntalk.

  explore XGA developer forums, its like a treasure chest.

   

  the only gripe i have with the phone is the battery life. worst batt life ever on any phone i used. compared to the bold 9700 i used previously, it sucks. i guess its hard to find any phone that can beat the blackberry. it could last me 3 to 4 days on one full charge. this current one not 1 day die already.

  the micro sim card from starhub is so farked up. I bought IP4 for almost 1 week and I cant accessing dataplan ie use internet. starhub technician said calling me, but till date haven called me yet.

  i`m using the SEX1, Sony Ericsson Xperia X1

  as a geek, i dled all the freeware,hackware tweak i ever could...

  now got many games + free garmin GPS + all the relavant sofware to make it so `apple`... so happy w my phone.... it`s iphone + HTC touch pro as and when i want it...

  the only gripe is the opera browser tat don support some flash, other than that, i`m fine.. haha
