Lags when installing and downloading apps from market, has even more lag if you don't clear the ram (apparently lots of apps like to run in background without you knowing).
Retarded accelerometer, sometime won't detect orientation change until you shake it.
Screen lock, one of the worst I ever used. Without using the security lock, your screen will always unlock the screen 7/10 times because you accidentally thumb the screen lock button ironically, and then brush again the screen with another finger.
Until a decent protective casing comes along, the profile is too slim for my liking, tendency to off balance while holding it in one hand, and slip.
Thats why get normal phone.. dun get smartphones..
xD

Wahhh you just reviewed the phone the way I will review it.
Seriously I regret giving my bro the Motorola Milestone XT because it is a way better phone than the Samsung Galaxy S although it is not popular
Oh yeah and despite the slower speed, the Milestone XT don't lag as much and respond much faster than the Galaxy -_-"
I am going back to my first love.
wah seems like galaxy s has alot of problems. ok one question, how to clear ram for galaxy S? just reboot? or is there an option?

Just download an appkiller where they will clear and shut down all the applications running in the background
Use one of those task managers lor, but its effectiveness is what I would describe as a pathetic attempt. Just turning the phone on will set probably almost all the apps you have running already.
The pros about it is its magnificent huge screen, ultraresponsive to the touch screen, and the fact that I can sms using the 4*3 layout, and the mifi seems speedier than tethering an iphone.
I find the battery life not too facinating, prolly coz of the way I use it.
Interfacing with windows is a tikam tikam thing, sometimes it connects, sometimes it don't, I notice it will never sync up with a vista. With win 7, its a hope and pray, but with XP, so far so good.
Lastly, I don't really like the fact that it heats up so much for every farking little thing I do.
By the way, I have not registered my warranty coz the stupid website runs on a stupid script that resets itself everytime you try to register your particulars.

Its not that bad really. You have to try it out at the singtel shops yourself. For me, I am a particularly fussy person, hence I like to pick out certain aspects and really gripe on them. I do admit when I say lag, I expect it to go impossibly fast.
But if you ask me, its better than my jailbreaked iphone 3GS, and my first love definitely.
