but the good news is that she got herself baptized by a catholic priest last night at the hospital, with her family around her, so we hope that'll give her strength. I gave her my rosary, and she's tucked a chinese ed bible underneath her pillow.
it's so shocking how quickly cancer can progress ..... the first symptoms showed up barey 3 weeks ago .... and the cancer was only confirmed barely a week ago ..... WHAM ! .. it goes to stage IV ...

Yeah I know..... my uncle who passed away from lung cancer last year went from diagnosis to death within four weeks.
And he collapsed at the specialist clinic itself while waiting for his appointment.... he passed away that very same night.

Current: Say Sv 43, 76 & 135
Marine Parade Rd (Parkway) -> Tg Katong Rd (1st bus stop)
Current: Parkway -> Amber Rd 0.5 fare stage, Amber Rd -> Tg Katong Rd 1.0 fare stage. Total: 1.5 fare stage or ard 1.2km.
New: Parkway -> Amber Rd 0.6km, Amber Rd -> Tg Katong Rd 0.9km. Total 1.5km or current ard 2.0 fare stage.
It's in reality fare hike for some ppl.

think quite some time back...noticed the announcements/check in counters had the code share thingy a few months back? maybe even last year. didnt pay much attention. -

I only noticed it today at Changi.Starting days of Firefly at Changi never displayed MAS codeshare detail.

Yeah it was quick.... but at least his death was merciful.
He went for a specialist appointment in the morning, collapsed in the waiting room, got admitted into ICU, never woke up again, and expired at night.... all this inside of maybe 12 hours.
And frankly, I can't help but bear in mind that he had been smoking for as long as I can remember.....
I think the latter point is something for you to think about too, methinks.

I can tell you that the vendors also are to blame in many cases. You wouldn't believe how hard we have to chase some of the knns to quickly send e-invloice so that we can pay them!!! And some idiots will submit tenders without doing their sums properly. -

I knowbut then, over tender someone has to go ard and check. It's something of background check.
