before you go home after visiting, you smear tookie on yourself a lot..then go home and let patches get used to the smell...
and if possible, get some kinda scent thing from patches for tookie... something like a towel which you can rub on patches and have it around tookie...
then slowly introduce them

oh I smell like tookie when i go home ..... tookie likes to fall asleep on me when I'm cuddling him ....
so patches goes slightly nuts when I get home ....
