  i got a question..is polarized lenses really better for your eyes?it kinda feels like those 3d glasses you get in the theatres..

  yeah i bought a polarized sunglass, but it feels abit different compared to the normal sunglasses..my eyes felt a little strained after wearing it..

  Thats because polarised lens filter out light whose wavelength do not conform to the ones it permits....so less lights reach your eyes and you'll feel the strain trying to gather the light.

  I'm not too sure about that...

  But you saw those wierd looking opaque plastic spectacles? Supposedly it helps train your eyes out of myopia by reducing the light.

  Plus formal studies have shown no link between straining your eyes and that being bad for your eyes if I'm not mistaken. In other words, it is also safe to read your book in the dark.

  here, we awarded already.. then something happened.. the fricken organisation got an award which is so important it cannot be left out of the publication..

  so LL lor.. even the vendor could not fit that into the original specs without it making look like a hack job..

  but more importantly, the bloody boss wanted it
