  names, positions, NRIC, phone numbers, addresses and emails of a bunch of people, they want to do a "database system" and trying to get a UAT going..

  i'm thinking WTF are you idiots going on about?

  get some intern to write a bloody little MS Access database can already still want to whack until so big???

  And the access database will work a lot better, and be easier to update  than whatever crap they end up with.

  Most corp dun bother with MS Access though it's much more user friendly a simple database... But juding for those info req above, even excel would do the job >.>

  But I guess they just wan a system so that multiple people can access it while being on a web-based server...

  easy. an excel or access spreadsheet uploaded to a shared folder or MS sharepoint.

  Hmmm can actually, just that it might have problem with multiple user using the file at the same time...

  not an issue unless the file has to be updated by multiple users. if the updating is done only by one or two users, the rest will have no problem with the file opening as read only.

  oh yeah.. was at IMM yesterday with zora..

  the guy at the roadshow outright slashed the price of a D3000.. with kit lens, 8GB card, tripod and bag.. from $988 to $908 with minimal prodding...

  was very very tempted...

  the Olympus Pen was similar.. the full kit was going for about $1579 and they slashed it by about $150...

  we had to walk away quickly
