erh.. i was indian airway to india 2 years ago, no curry smell leh.. very normal atmosphere :)
seated beside me were 2 educated locals who were very helpful. letting me where to go for good credible local food. :)

Beat my Sundown timing by 25 minutes! Woohoo!

They upped the registration fees for the Sundown Marathon. Drastically.
Last year, as a first-timer, I paid $45 to take part in it. This year, it costs $70.
Even with repeat participant discount, I still have to shell out $59.
At the race expo a few days ago, I expressed my incredulity at one of the staff at the Sundown booth. She was also at a loss for words.
I really have to consider whether or not Sundown is still worth it.

I've got cramped hamstrings, calves, and gluteal muscles (no kidding). Right now I can't walk properly, and it's especially painful when I get up from my seat.
And my underarms have abrasions - forgot to put petroleum jelly there.
But the thrill of finishing a marathon is well worth all that pain.
The marathon charges may be high..... but there is no charge for awesomeness.

my younger bro came back with a 5h 22m timing and massive abrasions on his inner thighs, nipples, and armpits .......

this morning I was watching the runners thudding down east coast from susie's place .......
I must say the caliber of runners is higher than say, the AHM or one of those monkey ones like the milk run .....
everybody looks pretty fit and serious ... you don't have those overweight birds in spaghetti tops and virgin reeboks .....
