AAaaaah Harharharharhar!!!

Yes!! Ideally, I can learn enough conversational Japanese and Korean to find my way around. I want to venture out to the rural areas.
I'm currently reading "Snake Fang Salad" where a photographer was paid by Lonely Planet to eat his way through China and write / take photos about his adventures / misadventures.
I think after I have saved enough for a car and the 10,000 driving lessons I'll need, I'll save for a DSLR. Me, my car and my camera will be visiting the rural areas of Victoria and then some once I get my driving licence, God bless the Australians who cross my path!

And by then, Australia might be burnt to a crisp. There are horrible predictions of the heatwave reaching the 50's this Summer! It's still Spring but already, this has been the hottest Spring I've experienced thus far! We've already had a few days where it's hit the 30's and the highest so far was 37 deg C!
when is the best time to come visit australia..
i went once in end dec, i was burnt.. and once in july, it was cold...

Having said that, there are going to be some huge auroras if it happens in winter.

Actually, at work, I've had to use my very limited and very rusty French twice, both times on old gentlemen who were thought to be 'confused' because they had limited English capabilities! One of these patients turned out to be multilingual - five languages no less! Apparently due to age, he's kinda gotten mixed up between all five languages and was thought to be confused until I picked up a French word muttered by him so I started a conversation with him in French and he became livelier after that!
