my folks was mad... Their Malaysian cheques could not be used cos they changed e paper format, macham like wat happened here years ago.
But no one told them abt e change, and worst when he called up to Malaysia side, they told him he has to 'request' for e new chequebook

The scale model and the concept panels are on display at the big concourse outside TPY MRT. I'm not convinced that the whole sun-catching idea will work. Using daylight over lamps is definitely a plus but knowing S'preans, the air-con bills will hit the ceiling.

yeahbut I was telling mrs sbst, honestly the design of the flats in future should look into some ways of allowing flats to be cool in a hot day.. just a simple fan would do

There's no such thing as watching too much anime...The Japan trip was very, very memorable and I am seriously contemplating going there again early next year. I've posted some pictures of the trip on a thread in the SO forum.
Finding a Japanese chick to marry wasn't a top priority on the trip; the one's that did catch my eye though were, more often than not, too young...

Yeah! I'm just a tad surprised that there's not been much publicity over the Solar Storms forecast yet! I mean, it's going to be a huge, devastating catastrophe! Essential services had better have functional back-up generators, and the power grid had better be restored fast enough should that happen or else it'll be pure mayhem!
Can you imagine phantom currents in the power lines, destroying all the transformers (nope, not the robots in the movie!
) beyond repair?! And then having the satellites we rely upon for communication and navigation destroyed to useless junk? -

1) COE quota must cut. No way can cars keep on growing when land area is not growing.
2) Building MRT lines takes way too long, we can't wait. Meanwhile, get the buses and taxis to get ppl to switch to public tpt by improving e services.
3) He says the current MRT crowd is too much, no way it should be as crowded as Tokyo.
4) Public tpt must be encouraged and not by force

I've long wanted to travel to Japan and Korea. Hey MG, try reading, "Hokkaido Highway Blues"! You'll love it!
I'm now saving up for a trip home next year, perhaps two trips home next year and a trip to Hong Kong. I'm also trying to save for more driving lessons and a car. I'm going for a 2nd-hand car to bump around town.
I complain about the high cost of driving lessons but seriously, my driving instructor ought to be compensated for the heart attacks I give him! AAaaaah Harharharharhar!!!

Yeah... pretty much so.
And by then, Australia might be burnt to a crisp.
There are horrible predictions of the heatwave reaching the 50's this Summer! It's still Spring but already, this has been the hottest Spring I've experienced thus far! 
We've already had a few days where it's hit the 30's and the highest so far was 37 deg C!
