This afternoon, Bear was talking about the bus fanatics who jump onto the road to take photos of their beloved boxes.... now there's a thread on the forum homepage where the nutters wonder why the drivers are rude to them when they do so.

it's a 12-hr wait for me! golly i hafta go thru this week after week.
so whatcha planning to do after your exams? another road trip? i've a coupla friends going up to penang this weekend - for the bridge run and thereafter makan-thon.

Wait for the next sem which is like one month after exams.
Its the summer vacations that's worth looking forward to.
Nothing much to do...except, the very next day after my exams is my birthday....my friends might decide to do something to me instead.

1) I made it into 2nd round of tests and interview for the medical sewing specialist thingy.
2) I didnt go to JB and then to Penang.
3) I was suddenly loaded with some lightweight work at the station.
4) I got mock test on Friday nite and I am not prepared.
5) That means I am left with Sat & Sun to clear the revision, clear folding the letters into envelopes and sending them out, do up the list of people, their contacts and rsvp details. And also to practise more on the sewing as well as finish up whatever housechores and finish ripping those music CDs and DVDs.
6) Need to scan some books and drop by library to drop off more books. Which means I should finish up all those library books by this weekend.
7) I am now with a slight sore throat, aching shoulders, running nose and bleary eyes. All too sudden, and I just had a fresh flu shot.
8) Did I forget that someone jio me jogging and I insisted on going to Orchard Road brisk walking to finish up her chores instead on Sat? Should I go for IPPT too. And weapons shooting to try to schedule that we all go on 3 Dec?
9) And Salsa class on Sunday?????
10) Mon is doing what????
11) Tues I know got 2 different sets of tests, exams and interviews?
Arggghhhhh!!!! Suddenly schedule is packed till mid Dec!

But seriously, I'm quite bemused at the attitude at some of them..... they seem to have the mentality that once you are a bus fan, you can do anything you want without caring for authority....
I mean, come on lah.... want to take photos also, at least ask for permission first lah....

The Bt Timah flood was really terrible, nong time been seeing such terrible flooding in that area ytd.
I think today's PAP Times interview w/ tat MP i/c of Transport GPC is realistic

To use an analogy...... I'm driving a car, and then some doofus with a bigass DSLR comes up and takes a photo of me driving it just because he likes my car model.
Come on lah.... at least ask for my permission first before you take a picture of me driving my car, right?
I'm totally bemused at how some of them can be so indignant at being told off by bus captains for not asking permission first before shooting.

actually if they take pic at bus int or terminals, need bus co's permission actually.on the overhead bridges, it's like nobody's biz...

The Malaysia side cheques all changed to think a single format (Like wat happened some years back here). But thing is, no one informed my folks anything and later on when called them up, found we that we have to 'request' for e new cheques
