  But it's dumb over e tyres. Dun forget we ourselves faced tis problem w/ Yokohama's Jurong plant back in the 1970s. It was simply no way to make tyres in places where e road condition is good. Though Yokohama set up e Jurong plant to anticipate e common market during e merger years which failed.

  the same way they buy iron ore at spot prices and rant about "being swindled" when the rest of the world is buying ore with forward contracts and getting them cheaply

  PRC got screwed over by the weather

  They were banging on a crop failure and who knows, Mother Nature decided to turn things around so they have HUGE EXPENSIVE FORWARD POSITIONS. And they covered much more than they did last year.

  MISC is expanding it's Intra Asia route since it's exiting from Asia - Europe routes

  But funny thing, e new route skips PTP calling. MISC recently ended up owning a dedicated facility there in hope of e IDR
