that's not the point! they ARE the fooking government! they cannot deny public services/goods to an opposition ward when they are the ones in control of the money! and what about those in the opposition wards who voted for them?
and even today, the opposition MP has to apply for permits to do just about anything in his own constituency, including holding dinners, while the pap grassroots people can walk in and out and do anything they please!
Of course that's not the point. But thing is, they believe by withholding all these perks, people will come begging next GE.

they'll eventually win because one problem the opposition has is sucession planning.
however, there is the possibility that a real viable opposition faction will break away from the main party after the old man dies. who knows,their leader might very well be the current SM!
I heard was CST wanna go to a GRC instead of staying at Potong Pasir

Fighting corruption....now that's some rhetoric here....not that I blame Najib.
Good luckto Najib
Criminals = The Police
Corruption = The Parliment
Taxi & Bus Drivers = Rapists (Not all but more than enough to shock)
"Good" Education = Malay as the language to teach Math & Science

No one in?
Good Morning..
when awoke, i sensed something amissed and i just knew it..
my colleague's financee called, my colleague has been arrested again for AWOL.. .. i went ><"
Actually I see it coming all these while when I repeatedly ask him when is his national reservist, he said no have news, I went ...hmm..really..?).
Although I make the decision in the singapore office and I can keep his job for him, I still have to inform my boss the facts mah..
So,anybody can tell me what would his sentence be if he goes to court? I would not mind him coming back to work for us if his sentence is light (of course not 6mths type lah)...

Hard to say.
First time AWOL == probably a fine + demotion + a few days' stay at Kranji resort camp.
Subsequent AWOL == full court-martial + a few weeks' stay at Kranji resort camp.
It all depends on the circumstances.
ahh.. back at my desk...
an idiotic thing which i was scheduled to do has been stopped so i'm back.. don't know if it's good or bad coz again, i waded into a huge pile of work to do

ya! why on earth go AWOL ?
How is his work performance? does he go AWOL from work too?
talking about AWOL, some people are... i dunno.. seem to be wired to do that...
in NS, as a medic, one of the first things i did was to prepare an FFI for Detention for this guy because he went AWOL...
and before i ROD'ed, the last thing i did was to prepare an FFI for the same fella for the same reason...
his "2-year NS stint" was longer than my 2 1/2 year stint (and i disrupted for a while) because he was in and out of DB
