  i think the business in tampines 1 is going to be so affected .. coz those who wants uniqlo now can go to central orchard instead of travelling all the way to tampines!

  Was reading my book....

  Some parts are pretty hilarious....like the psychologists' penchant for conducting experiments....even on their family members! Admittedly the results were pretty interesting.

  Like this guy who decided to test the irrationality caused by jealousy on his 2 young sons. And the story went:

  2 bowls were placed on a table. 1 contained 2 peanut inside and 1 by the side. The other contained 3 peanuts inside, and 4 by the side. The boys picked the bowls separately and were told that they could have the nuts inside the bowl, but the ones by the side go to the other sibling.

  Just how irrational could people get when faced with such situations?

  The younger son chose the bowl with 2 peanuts inside and 1 at the side....because he couldn't bear the thought of his brother getting more nuts than him. Despite the fact that he could have gotten 3 instead of 2...

  His elder brother, on the other hand, chose the bowl with 3 peanuts instead....and depending how you see it, it was probably rational. For the wrong reasons. His intention was to eat the 3 peanuts and then proceed to rob his younger brother of the 4 peanuts.

  the taxi stand at amk hub already caused traffic jam at the junction liao..

  long q, and no moving, the taxi just stay there..

  the buses cannot move, traffic all got stuck!

  it's already a mess there...

  now.. Ion is at the critical junction where a slight hiccup in the already messy traffic will very quickly turn into a major fustercluck as there is heavy vehicular traffic from all 4 directions in the cross-junction... plus unreasonably high human traffic at all times...

  anyway, i think the talking bus will be one of those people who will go there to observe the mess...

  For an atas place it's a glaring eyesore - just like some of the towkay's mansions and Parkview Square.

  it's amazing that even when it's bloody late, the junction is still full of people!

  to this day, i'm amazed no one has ever been shoved into oncoming traffic due to the sheer volume of people....
