I still dun like milk in my Oatmeal
I like it with Maple Syrup and a bit of butter for "plain"
Dinner last night was Oatmeal with 2 slices of ham and 1 slice of cheese

I will kick up a royal fuss if you were to freeze a dirty rat in my freezer too. -

I know I keep frozen worms and what not in my freezer but I will say no to a rat as well. Nevermind that you wrap it up in layers of plastic bag but no rats in the freezer!!!!!
Alternatively, feed the rat to someone with an alligator gar or snapping turtle...at least it's part of the food chain

I keep my frozen brine shrimps in their blister pack inside a Ziploc bag in a compartment in my freezer too.
But stuffing a dirty sewer rat into the freezer alongside the frozen food that we will eventually consume... that is unhygienic!!
Fatum, think of it this way, if you knew that your favourite restaurant freezes rats in their freezer, will you still patronise the restaurant?!

I cannot understand why people would let a feline fleabag or a mutt to roam freely all over the house but won't let a rat wrapped inside a plastic bag into the freezer to be killed .... after all, all the cats and rats were running around in the same sort of area .....
doesn't make sense does it ? ...

Pet showers, flea treatments... And my cats learnt early that MY dinner table, MY meals are out of bounds. I keep them away from my food-prep areas. They have a separate tub of dishwashing gel and separate sponge for washing their food and water bowls. -

I helped an eldery patient with his breakfast once, and he had me pour milk, honey, then a pack of sugar, followed by a bowl of canned apricots into his oatmeal!

I like some dried or canned fruits in my oatmeal sometimes but I don't like it overly sweet!
I just add a little Maple Syrup (the real stuff not those corn syrup flavoured ones) for a tinge of sweetness

and I still fail to see how a rat packed inside a layer of industrial trash plastic bag can contaminate the rest of the freezer .....
I don't suppose the poor mouse totally immoblized on the stick board, spread-eagled, would decide to take a romp around the freezer and sample the haagen daiz beside it before it goes to mousie heaven ....
like I said, it's just like my ex-housemate who threw a fit cos I was drying clothes in the oven ...

Yeah! I was going to make some comment about it in relation to his health but then he tucked heartily into it and was enjoying it so much ... plus the fact that he's already in his 80's... haiz... just let him enjoy it.
