  yeah.. he ate the thing.. the Kalahari Bushmen do not believe in washing anything.. it's a waste of water...

  when the found an ostrich egg, they started a fire, bashed the egg open, and spilt the contents directly into the ashes.. then they picked up pieces of the cooked egg, embers, sand, ash, dirt and... all and ate them..

  the best thing eaten by Bourdain as he described it was the bush beetles.. which they roasted and ate with some salt
