I prefer rice to potatoes. I like potatoes in curry though. Poor hubby, he doesn't get to eat much potatoes at home..... except chips.

same here! potatoes, noodles, pasta are ok. rice...on the very rare occasions and even then wild or brown rice. -

When I go shopping, I hardly buy potatoes unless I know we are having something that require potatoes to go with it. I tend to forget to use it and they ended up growing in the cupboard.
I do make mashed potatoes every now and then especially if we are having lamb shank or something similar.

I love mashed potatotes and baked potatoesI think my fav variety is still the Russet Burbank Potato
Red Potatoes are really good too especially fried and sprinkled with herbs and salt and pepper to taste

Yeah, don't mind mashed potatoes. have you tried mashed kumara (sweet potato)... it's quite nice too.
I also love grilled potato skin. Very nice.
