Yeah but if you are talking about costs usually it's a loss for a diamond unless it's of some super quality and large in size

Bearing in mind how the US is a litigatious society, I couldn't help but laugh when I read this extremely tactful definition of morbid obesity in a professional nursing journal! You can almost visualise the writers treading around the shards of glass on the floor carefully and delicately!
"Morbid obesity, a term described by the American Society for Bariatric Surgery (ASBS) as synonymous with clinically severe obesity, is a disease of excess energy stores in the form of fat. The ASBS (sounds like "Ass Big Ass"! ) defines obesity as a lifelong, progressive, life-threatening, genetically related, multifactoral disease of excess fat storage with multiple comorbidities."
Impressive?

Oi! Cannot say THE three-letter word! Must say "affliction of excess adipose tissues"! I came up with that... good or not?
Actually, further down in the same article, it becomes less funny because :
"Experts argue that healthcare is becoming one of the most dangerous jobs in the United States with physical injuries reaching epidemic levels. ... Health care workers sustain 4.5 times more overexertion injuries than any other type of worker."

I'm quite happy I don't face size discrimination here. And it's nice that the majority men here aren't so shallow as to rule you out completely if you're 'physically lacklustre'.
It's only when I return to SG that I feel self-conscious but over here, I don't waste time dwelling on the pwee pwee issue much. THIS is what I call FREEDOM!

Surprising, right? I can't imagine health care being more hazardous than, say, construction or forestry or mining.
But then again, when I think back on all the dua bwee's in the hospital, and I don't mean dua bwee Asian-size but DUA BWEE generous ang moh sizing, then it's not that hard to believe.
I remember the Occupational Health and Safety Officer who was training us on safe methods of transferring and lifting patients telling us that the hospital is considering imposing a weight limit for patients upon admission because the beds, hoists, wheelchairs, trolleys, and even wall-mounted toilet bowls, etc all have a weight limit. If we accept patients heavier than what these equipments, furniture and tools can take, the patient might end up injured, and the nurse(s) usually kena injured alongside them too.
I'd hate to be squashed under some of them!!
That parn....is she serious???
