reading Zaobao... hmm... some of the top poly grads were ppl who actually couldn't qualify to go on to Uni using the JC route
There was 1 classic one though... nearing to A levels only to quit JC to go on to Poly and take up a nursing dip

Okay..... that sure is an 'impartial' appraisal....
Kinda reminds me of my internship two years ago. I asked my boss if he could write a testimonial for me.
He said that he was too busy, and so he asked me to write it myself.
So I wrote one whole page full of self-praise, printed it out on company paper with the company letterhead..... and then he signed it.

a whole section of my organisation got outsourced and we ended up doing more work than usual so that the idiots who got the job don't screw up..

the management is sometimes short-sighted...
just like the manager who made his 4 execs fold and paste mailers for a day.. the manager thinks he's saved the cost of hiring 4 temps a day to do the job but he forgot that he just cost the organisation the productivity of 4 execs for that day..
