I think there are more in Australia.
In Singapore, they are pretty rare. If you're a male nurse in Singapore, unless you're quite pai si, you'll find the Nursing Officers favouring you.

Speaking of "ah kuas" (no related to a shortform of my handle here)...transsexuals are a bit more prevalent here than most people think - 1 in 3,500 for MTFs and 1 in 6,200 for FTMs.

Actually today's Zaobao talked abt another top poly grad..
another char bor... but actually she took her A levels but couldn't get into uni cos of her results... so decided to go on to poly rather than to work or go overseas (from wat it seems it was over finances)...
now she's going on to NTU to pursue her dream

I'm all for poly grads upgrading themselves and getting a degree.
However, I think it's quite imbalanced - it's easier to get a poly dip and then enter Uni, than to sit for the gruelling 'A' levels and enter the U via that route.
I've sat for BOTH the 'A' levels and the poly dip, and I can tell you that it's not the same. 'A' levels are definitely the killer one.

I mean ... MTFs, sure, it's easy ... just loop off whatever that's there ......
but FTMs ? .... how do they do it ? ... do they rob corpses ? .... do an exchange with someone undergoing FTMs ? ... or mould it out of a piece of your flesh, or what ? ....
and do they give you a pair of marbles with that too ? ....
