reading Train Man.. it's a hilarious book
basically, a techiegeek stops a rampaging drunk from accosting women in a train on the way home... after the drunk is arrested and the ladies give their details for the police, he goes home, writes about his day in a site much like this..
there are a few who reply.. and a few days later, he gets a card from one of the ladies thanking him and two teacups from a SWT who was sitting beside him...
and he is wrecked with nervousness.. he is very interested, but, as aforementioned, a techiegeek who breaks out in sweat and legs it when a lady thanks him...
the whole board suddenly becomes his fan club and support group, telling him to pick up the courage to go call her.. while he is paralysed with fear...
i'm up to the "paralysed with fear" part of the book.. which is the beginning.. probably be reading it the next few days

when suddenly at 7,00am, my dad knocked my door and had to wake me up early "wake up.."..got work right?",,,,
"no.. dad, it's holiday today"...
Heard dad said: "oopss..hehehe..."
i can hear his and mom laughters trailing away to the kitchen..

Yesterday I had my tian mi mi dinner cooked by MPB
I was so held up in the office by HM
Go home, MPB was at Popular so I decided to catch Piggy out coz it seems that he either hurt his shell or he got a mild shell infection. He is now so bloody heavy and strong

anyway, i just had lunch.. sea bass belly vermicelli soup..
weather is so hot i drank 3 mugs of cold water and had 2 slices of watermelon..
i think i'll be running to the bathroom a lot later

He's fine. He's eating and still active though obese now and seriously needs to go on a diet
I'm not sure if his shell is changing or is it a mild fungal infection
Didn't want to take chances since fungal infection kills so I had to catch him up and apply melafix on the affected areas and no he didn't like it one bit.
Did another water change and see how things go.

so three of the natives have decided to sue the Homosexual and Lesbian Community of Greece in order to reclaim the name

If I'm not wrong.... 'lesbians' were indeed named after the island of Lesbos....
Apparently some female poet on that island in Ancient Greece had written a lot of poems proclaiming her love for other women.

In other news, the FS bought me a book at Borders a few days ago.....
'Stalingrad' by Antony Beevor....
It's an extremely brilliant book..... I've already read a lot about the Battle of Stalingrad.... but the way this fella writes the book, it's more like some high-tension Tom Clancy novel than a non-fiction history book.
I really couldn't put down the book during long MRT journeys.
Highly recommended.

And I'm keeping more than a 1 m distance away from him coz he stinks
