  What about things you don't really need but you have already bought it

  what i bought was a 3 colour fa jin (fa = hair, jin = crystal), a hand bracelet too. but its 13 balls threaded to form a bracelet. i wore it on friday. geez. that blew my pocket. how much u got urs?

  Oh mine isn't too bad. The retail tag was $1,500 but I only paid $988 for mine. Got it from Li Hong Jade.

  I'm happy with this purchase though I wasn't really thinking of buying anything was because I love Icy white jade and most of them are just way too expensive (in 4k above range) so when I saw this Grade A white Jadite, I just had to buy it

  I think it's pretty too. Semi-Translucent with white dots in it like snowflakes :)

  i got mine for 400. yeah....same reason with you.

  if i were to see anything similar in terms to transparency/shinyness/size, it would be 1k and above.

  mine looks like white crystal with coloured hair in it, which turns shiny under light.

  n yeah, most of them are way to expensive.

   

  there goes my extra-pay lol.

  Ya~ the thing about jade is that it depends on the auction price of the mother stone itself, so if they got it cheap, they will sell it cheap. Most prob they got the mother stone cheap this time or something and yes there goes my extra pay too . LOL

  yeah.

  coz for these gemstones and jadite, there is no real clear/straight market price.

  thats why some people get chop by those who sell damm ex.

  mine was because it was my colleague's shop, so his mom sold me at the price she bought it.

  hahaz. real grateful. their market price was 700. so...kind of like 75% profit(if they sell to some1 else)

   

  i believe u have also other gemstone collections?

  No $$ to collect so many also :P

  I went with my colleague who is very close to the Li Hong Ppl so I got a pretty good discount. Around 35%. They said for icy jade I got a very good deal which I think so too.

   

  Ya the thing about Jade and gem stones there are no fixed price so it really depends on your luck sometimes :)

  That will never happen because you always think of ways to wiggle out of jogging and rejoice when it rains because it gives you a good excuse to not jog :P

  Bought an Oster 12-speed kitchen blender that was on sale for under $25 at the SuperTarget store that just opened less than a mile from my house. Didn't really need one but the price was too tempting, plus I've never ever owned a blender.

   

  I don't really need it, but it's nice to now have the equipment to whip up a pina colada smoothie when the mood dictates!

  Try blending canned fruit with ice too

  It's nice as well :P

  Yup, I've been using canned pineapples and fresh bananas together with the pre-mixed pina colada juice in my smoothies. Comes out really nice!
