I think fatum forgot about hakka beefball noodles
The stall is near the Sungei road laksa anyway
It's also near the teochew yong tau foo which i like.
The hakka yong tau foo at the hakka beefball noodles place is good too
The Sungei Road Laksa place is also near the Zhu Jiao Dong and Shark Meat place. 10 mins walk away would be that famous Kitchener Road Mutton Soup and the Scissors Curry Rice
Then 15 mins walk away from the Scissors Curry rice, he can walk to Lavender Food Court to eat the no sighboard Pig Organ Soup and the other nice stuff at Lavender Food Court

Most importantly, make sure you don't fall ill whilst in Singapore. You've been in a temperate climate for a long period and it takes a while to adjust to the stifling heat and humidity.

some suggestion maybe u can look into it
item 6 -- I like this Bak Chor Mee Pok Tah at basement food center of Suntec. Remember to add blk vinegar for your Tah mee Pok.
item 10 -- i like it at East coast hawker food center it only open during lunch hour. Its pig feet is really popular. U can walk to the bar and have an ice cold beer by the beach after that.
Item 12 -- Prawn mee i like it at China town hok hai center. Its buk Kut Teh next to it is pretty good Teochew style. Its neighbour Raw Fish porridge is equally good. u might have to visit more than once.
For roast pork braise pork i suggest you chop a section from the old Tiong baru market its really good. Cantanise porridge is there too.
East coast hawker food center also have the teochew satay bee hoon open at night. Duck stall has its history....
last but not least i also recomendation the creamy laksa at Katong. char kaw teow by the next block and Nonya dumpling....its a few step foward. so don't stuff yourself.... and board a bus 14 and stop further down to beach road prawn mee. take another bus down to tanah merah to eat cutter fish kang kong right opposite 3 and 4 SIR hawker food center. -
