MSER?? what is that??Originally posted by alvin74:I'm 33 this year. Wkg for my father-in-law in his retail biz.
I studies CBS (Acctg) in ITE-Bishan. Worked after my NS as admin, then moved on to Accounting.
All my life till 2 yrs ago, i'm doin accounting jobs. Holding a below-executive position, I have strived to study in ACCA but never get past the MSER topics. Knowing to stay top and alive in the accounting industry, I need to study & attain more than just a CBS. But coping with work alone already stressed me out.
Now i'm moving to my mid-30s, anyone like me in this situation where you felt you have not accomplished anything meaningful in life?
I have not earned my first million dollars, is it a "must-have" goal for everyone?
Moving to my mid-30s, is it going to a crisis? What crisis are we all talking about anyway?

The ACCA uses this criteria to test students graduated with Cert to test if they are good enough to continue pursuing ACCA. They have to take up two subjects first, and if they pass the exams, they can continue the rest of the 1st Level subjects. I dunno if this is still practised in the ACCA now.
btw Kenashi is 50 yrs old liao?
I dont understand the above. Glad if u can explain it.Originally posted by alvin74:"tak-ada wang" if u understand melayu

Thank you...that is inspiring.Originally posted by concerned_man:I think you are in perfect good shape. Some people in their 30s went bankcrupt, file a divorce , a broken family, jobless and homeless etc.
And some of the wealthiest people earned their first pot of gold at the age after 40.
But the rest of forumers are right, maybe you can spend some quiet moments to define what you want in life. $ is just not everything, although you cannot don't have it.
