we nixed it... the caterer sending another menu to us...
it's more stuff because it's just downstairs.. no transportation costs so they give us more -
not too bad.. the Tea menu.. nice.. 7 items like siew mai, chicken wings, soong kueh, crab claw..
plus noodles.. plus tea and coffee...
$6 a head -

*This morning when I walked in the office, I was told one of my colleagues handed his resignation last night. It made it 4 resignations in a month after my previous project manager resigned. I am now by myself with the newbies. All the colleagues I had been working with are all gone!!

i find the way the boss works strange..
there is no trust..
we talk to someone on the phone, the guy says he's coming with a posse of about 30 people, we have to send an email to the guy to "confirm" that he will...
it is as if, we do not trust the guy...
over the most trivial matter, everything must be in writing?
i guess for those who are lacking in integrity, they expect others to lack it to? -

effing boss is out of her effing mind...
so far, she's been talking to this long-winded old man for half an hour.. because she doesn't want to give him the softcopy of a presentation...
thing is, he has the bloody hardcopy of it..
he's the guy in charge of archiving a lot of things.. so he's asking for it..
being kind of slow (hey! he's survived a stroke.. so he shuffles along), his reason for wanting it is that "he's had the past few years ones"
the effing boss is giving him a hard time.. i don't find any reason not to give the softcopy to him.. he'll just put the thing in a disc, put it in some dusty corner as part of the huge pile of archived things...
sometimes i wonder what the hell is wrong with my boss..
